The Picking Report for August 31, 2010 Blueberries - U-Pik: Were Quite Early! Finished for 2010. Blueberries - We Pik: Plenty of Frozen Blueberries All Year! How's the Picking?

Blueberries: Due to warm weather, the blueberries were very early and are now all gone.
Blackberries: Summer crop substantially reduced by cold Winter & Spring.
Fall Crop is Early and Fair, but performs erratically. We Are Picking Fall Blackberries now thru 1st hard freeze in October, but picking is poor today.

Limited Hours Now thru October:
Tues & Sat Mornings only, 7:00AM til Noon.

Plenty of Frozen Blueberries Now and all year. Just come out, or place phone order.

• The Blueberry Crop was large in 2010, but Damaged some by the Cold Spring, but not as much as we expected.
• Pickingwas Quite Good, but is now over for 2010!
• We have lots of Frozen We-Pik Blueberries

Blueberry Plants
We have thousands of beautiful blueberry plants ready to sell, 1 to 4 years old, 1 to 5 feet tall.

Summer Blackberry crop: about July 7 to Mid August, was damaged by the winter. But "Fall" Blackberries Are Early and Fine. Picking NOW!

• The Fall Blackberry crops are FINE.
• One key Blackberry blessing: The season is so long, into late Fall, that there will undoubtedly be more picking opportunities later.

Some of our activities are unique: Kids ride the Berry Train, visit Noah's Feed Lot & Fun Center where they Climb the Hay bale Mountain and Maze, Run the Obstacle Course, get dirty in the Sand Piles and picnic with their friends and family in the Shaded Picnic Areas.
